An LGA report report released today shows that councils fear that the Conservative housing bill will see a sell off of homes that will not be replaced and a rocketing of homelessness in communities across Britain. The survey of local authorities, treated as a snapshot by the LGA laid out their concerns starkly.

Bolton Liberal Democrats have condemned the decision by councillors to ignore proposals for a £0.5 million investment in industry as a report from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation puts Bolton 3rd amongst the worse performing northern towns.

Bolton Liberal Democrats have called on Bolton Council to take action in order to protect over 8,500 Bolton Council employee pensions after it was revealed that £1.3 billion of public funds has been invested in fossil fuel investments through the Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF).

In the field to the left, there a sheep against the fence that erm.... doesn't look very alive!? (Could be mistaken, but it didn't move and I couldn't see it breathing!) Thought someone should know because it's kinda tucked down a slope
