More new lighting for Little Lever/Darcy Lever
New street lighting has been installed on Independent Street, Heywood Street, Arthur Street and Kershaw Avenue, the Liberal Democrat team is pleased to announce.
Eric Hyde’s Lib Dem team has welcomed the news that the street lighting has been completed.
The old-fashioned lanterns have been replaced with more modern, energy efficient ones that are cheaper to run and last up to 25 years.
Eric said: “This is fantastic news for residents of these streets.”
Donal O’Hanlon, our Parliamentary Candidate for the area, added: “I am sure it will allow residents to feel just that little bit safer in the darker evenings.”
