Paul is a father of two and a Councillor on Manchester City Council & Greater Manchester Fire Authority.

“I began in Politics in late 2003,” Paul said, “winning in 2007.”

“I learnt a great deal about campaigning in those years, but not necessarily anything about being an effective Councillor. That has been done over the last two years, but the most important lesson taught me not to stop learning.”

“I am a firm believer that the Liberal Democrats can and should win every seat in mainland Britain.”

“I think Bolton needs champions, people who will fight its corner, not let it be swallowed up by Manchester and ensure bright Boltonians get every opportunity to shine.  We need better education, stronger business and safer streets.

“Lets help each other make that happen.”
